NATO gives great importance to relations with Armenia - James Appathurai.

Armenia’s Parliament Speaker Samvel Nikoyan received NATO Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai on Monday to discuss Armenia-NATO relations.

During the meeting Samvel Nikoyan stressed the importance of dynamically developing Armenia-NATO cooperation.

James Appathurai mentioned that NATO gives great importance to Armenia-NATO relations. According to him, Armenia-NATO relations have great potential for further development. He thanked Armenia for the participation in the NATO peacekeeping operations.

Other issues were also discussed during the meeting.
