PAP and ANC to have equal places in the future parliament - expert.
Political
To find out the future picture of parliament first it is necessary to understand who has remained in the political field, expert of political and electoral technology Armen Badalyan told news conference on Tuesday. He said the political parties must be divided into different groups. The influential ones are the RPA, PAP, ANC, the second group, a bit weaker, comprises of ARF, Heritage, the third group consists of Rule of Law and the fourth group, Badalyan said, consists of "virtual" parties whom you always see at press conferences – "Free Democrats", "New Times", Marxist party, Communist Party, People's party.
The expert said the parties of the last two groups will not enter the political field. "I doubt whether the ARF will appear in the parliament stemming from its rating of the past years. The same is with the "Heritage". In case of equal competitive conditions the ANC and the PAP will have almost equal presence at the future parliament," Badalyan said.
Political technologist Karen Kocharyan said the presence of journalists in the parliament will have a positive impact. Kocharyan said the best example of a journalist who became MP is PAP member Naira Zohrabyan.
