RPA candidates instructed not to violate rules - Mkrtich Minasyan.

“The Republican Party of Armenia attaches particular importance to the local self-government sector and to holding transparent elections by the principle “the voice of the people is the voice of God,” member of RPA parliamentary faction Mkrtich Minasyan told reporters, commenting on local self-government elections in a number of Armenian communities.

The Republican Party candidates have been instructed not to violate the rules, stressed the Republican MP.

Regarding the statement by the Armenian National Congress demanding invalidation of the results of Hrazdan mayoral elections, Minasyan said there is no legal basis for this demand.

Commenting on the coalition statement, Minasyan said, “The statement absolutely proceeds from the spirit and logic of the memorandum. Media say that new rules will be established. There is nothing of the kind. The statement says that we should achieve undisputed election results.”
