Convict dies in Armenia`s Sevan penitentiary.

Convict Gilbert Malkhasyan, 59, died in Sevan penitentiary of Armenia’s Ministry of Justice at 10.00 p.m. on Tuesday. He had been convicted three times previously, the Ministry of Justice informed. The preliminary diagnosis is acute myocardial infarct.
To note, Malkhasyan had been convicted on February 9, 2009, for illegal sale and circulation of drugs and psychotropic substances. He was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment.
Forensic examination has been assigned.
