The board of the National Information Center for Mutual Academic Recognition and Mobility (NICMARM) held a session at the RA Ministry of Education and Science. The session was headed by chairperson of the board, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan.
The board confirmed the 2011 NICMARM report, as well as the program and budget for 2012. Director of the NICMARM Gayane Harutyunyan introduced the activities of the previous year and mentioned that the primary goals of the center were the expansion of international cooperation and the process of recognizing qualifications. During the year in review, the NICMARM found 30 phony diplomas of foreign countries, prepared protocols and presented them to the competent structures.
Compared to last year, the 2012 budget of the NICMARM has remained unchanged and makes up nearly 4 million drams.
