Saint Vartanants holiday marked in Yerevan with a solemn march.

A march was organized today from Yerevan St. Zoravor Church, in memory of the victims of St Vartanants, with the participation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, as well as clergymen, young people, representatives of non-governmental and students' organizations. The participants moved to Khanjyan Street, where next to the monument to Vardan Mamikonyan the Council held a cultural event dedicated to the holiday.
The Feast of St Vartanants is commemorated on the Thursday preceding the Great Lent. On this occasion services were held in all the Armenian churches.
The march was organized by the RPA Youth Organization.
