We will use any election for Armenia’s transformation - Levon Zurabyan.

The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Central Office Coordinator Levon Zurabyan compared the election battle between Armenia’s authorities and the opposition to the duel in the film “Gladiator,” where prior to the fight the emperor fatally stabs the restrained Maximus before they enter the arena, so he can defeat Maximus, but he pretends that an equal duel is underway.

Zurabyan made this comparison during a roundtable discussion convened at the Political Science Association of Armenia.

Nonetheless, he expressed a conviction that the elections are the clearest mechanisms for mobilization, in terms of making the people get active, raising public awareness, and improving the system. “We will use any election for Armenia’s transformation,” Levon Zurabyan stated.

And reflecting on the mechanisms for overseeing the elections, ANC Coordinator underscored the presence of international observers and ANC representatives in all polling stations.
