EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly meeting kicks off in Yerevan.

EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly standing committee on social affairs, education, culture and civil society meeting will kick off Wednesday in National Assembly. It’s the first time EURONEST meeting is organized out of European Parliament.

Two days the committee will focus on two issues – “strengthening of civil society” and “fight against poverty and social alienation.” Co-chair of the committee Artak Zakaryan and European Parliament MPs Elzbieta Katarzyna Lukacijewska and Iliana Malinova Lotova have authored the reports.

EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly of the Eastern Partnership has been founded in May 2011.
