Government returns back the bill on Legal Regime of the State of Emergency.

With a formal letter to Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Samvel Nikoyan, PM Tigran Sargsyan returned to NA the bill on the Legal Regime of the State of Emergency, and he requested that amendments be made in the draft law, the Government Press Service informed.

This bill had received a large reaction from the public and political circles alike. The opposition forces claim this law proposal is unconstitutional, and it enables the army to get involved in ensuring domestic security. And the analysts note that the army should not be used for resolving internal matters.
