Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development .

The issues cooperation and joint programs were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan with the representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Expressing gratitude for support in important spheres of urban economy, Taron Margaryan attached importance to the cooperation with EBRD pointing out the process of investment program of the Yerevan Metro development.

“I am aware that the bank is interested in cooperation with the Municipality in other fields as well. All the initiatives are greeted”, noted the Mayor. The deputy head of the municipal programs of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Lin O’Gredy presented the Mayor those programs which are provided for implementation in teamwork with the Municipality of Yerevan, including the programs of technical assistance in the city dump design and of financing of capital expenditure of the system of urban waste water discharge and water supply.

The Mayor noted that both programs are of priority for the urban economy and expressed willingness to discuss the directions and projects of cooperation through working groups.
