Social program package for Armenian teachers.

Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Education and Science Mher Ghazaryan headed a working meeting at school N 114 in Yerevan today.

Issues related to the introduction of a social program package confirmed by the Armenian government were discussed during the meeting held with the participation of principals of high and middle schools.

The social program package entered into legal force in January by the prescribed order of the Armenian government.

The Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Education and Science underlined that the ideology of the social package emanates from the goals of the government's social policy and mentioned that the beneficiaries included the employees of high and secondary schools.

Each beneficiary will receive 132,000 drams according to their wages. The social program package can be in four directions, including social security, education, vacation and mortgages.

Out of the mentioned services, health insurance is mandatory. The government will allocate 52,000 drams for that, and the beneficiaries can use the remaining 80,000 drams at their discretion.

"Our expectation is to see you become the owner and performer of this program because you are the ones responsible for efficient education," Ghazaryan mentioned in his speech to the gathered and added that knowledge of accounting was an important precondition for the program's efficiency, reports the press department of the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
