The survey conducted by the Country of Law Party (OEK) shows that the party will receive at least 10% votes during the May parliamentary elections, OEK Vice-Chairman Mher Shahgeldyan told a press conference on Friday.
He says the OEK is trying to double its votes without distributing electoral bribes. The OEK Vice-Chairman is not offended for not finding his name among the top three candidates of the party's proportional list and says that discussions for the other seats are continuing.
Mr Shahgeldyan is surprised by the ongoing ‘black propaganda' against the OEK - a party that has done so much for the country.
Among the good deeds done by the OEK, Mher Shahgeldyan singled out the issue of deposits which, he said, ‘continues to remain in the limelight.'
Speaking about the upcoming elections, the OEK vice-chairman said his party is going to nominate candidates in 15-20 constituencies.
"We are going to compete in a civilized way," he stressed.
The OEK will convene a session on March 3 to discuss all preparatory issues.
