Prosperous Armenia Party to include 20% young members in proportional list.

Gagik Tsarukyan will head Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) list, PAP MP Vahe Enfiajyan said on Friday during the proportional list discussions.

According to him, the proportional list is discussed in all regional headquarters throughout Armenia, in the meantime.

He stressed importance of including new people in the party who will make their contribution not only to the party activities but also the state. Moreover, young people will make 20% of PAP’s proportional list for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

As to former FM Vardan Oskanyan’s joining the party, Enfiayjan said that he is an experienced and respected person and will have his place in the proportional list.

The pre-election list of the Armenian National Congress will be topped by Armenia's First President, HAK Leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Chairman of the People's Party of Armenia (HZhK) Stepan Demirtchyan and Chairman of the Republic (Hanrapetutyun) Party Aram Sargsyan.

"Though the list is not final, the heads of the 18 political parties affiliated with the opposition bloc have unanimously agreed to this version," HAK senior member Samvel Abrahamyan said.
