The special experts of the United Nations arrived to Kiev and had meetings with the Chairman of Ukrainian Union of Armenians Vilen Shatvoryan. Armenpress reports, citing Analitika that the participants of the meeting discussed the issues related to the human rights protection and national minorities in Ukraine. They also touched upon the Armenian community issue. “In Ukraine the Armenians are the citizens of Ukraine, who are integrated in the public, state and social sectors of the country. The Armenian community has always supported the interests of Ukraine and has had its contribution in the platforms and fields, where it is possible to implement it”, - said Shatvoryan.
