Armenian figure-skater qualifies for finals.

Armenian figure skater Slavik Hayrapetyan has demonstrated a successful performance at the U-20 World Cup qualifiers in Minsk, Belarus.
The 11th best sportsman in the list of 41 participants, Hayrapetyan now qualifies for the finals, according to the local newspaper Golos Armeniyi.
President of Armenia’s Figure Skating Federation Samvel Khachatryan told the paper that the athlete will first perform a short program and, upon having success, will be given a chance to represent a free program on March 3 together with 24 selected participants.
The competitions have brought together 207 young figure skaters from 52 world countries. The prize fund is $200,000.
