Armenia’s Emergency Situations Minister Armen Yeritsyan on Wednesday will present awards to the eight firefighter-rescuers who on February 21 had come to the aid of a pregnant woman and transported her through snow, and on a sled, to the ambulance, Emergency Situations Ministry informed.
As LURER.com informed earlier, a distress call was received, at 2:56 p.m. on February 21, informing that a tractor was stuck in snow, in Aragatsotn Region, and it had three passengers one of which was in serious health condition. This information was reported to the regional Emergency Service, and one unit was dispatched to the scene at 3:11 p.m. As it came out, one of the passengers—Gyulnara Faroyan, 20—was pregnant and needed to be taken to a maternity hospital. She was taken to Aparan city Medical Center with the help of the rescuers.
