The United Labor Party (MAK) and the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) are going to run in the May parliamentary elections with a joint ticket, MAK Chairman Gurgen Arsenyan said on Wednesday.
Arsenyan accounts the decision for their intention to live in a safer and more prosperous country.
"We do not perceive elections as a bout or duel," the MAK leader said addressing the party's eighth congress at the Government's session hall.
BHK Leader Gagik Tsarukyan welcomed Arsenyan's decision to enter BHK's list but reminded, "The Prosperous Armenia Party has already drafted its program. Our words are always consistent with our work and program."
The BHK leader also said his party will try its best to ‘preserve its votes for the sake of our children.'
