Armenia’s FM welcomes resolution passed by California State Assembly on recognition of independence of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandian has welcomed the resolution passed by the California State Assembly on the recognition of independence of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that Edward Nalbandian stated this while answering a question by News.am Information portal. Edward Nalbandian particularly stated: “We welcome the Resolution passed by the California State Assembly on the recognition of independence of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. The more Azerbaijan continues to undermine the efforts of Armenia and the international community aimed at the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the more new decisions and resolutions can be expected paving way for the international recognition of the realization of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination - the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.”
