Levon Ter-Petrosyan`s statement at today`s rally.

The Armenian National Congress (HAK), with its messages and statements, has given an exhaustive political evaluation of the political events that have taken place, but Levon Ter-Petrosyan today gave the evaluations with certain clarifications and specifications during his speech at Freedom Square.

Since today is March 1, President Levon Ter-Petrosyan began his speech with the topic of that infamous day. Recalling that the Special Investigative Service released the evaluation of the investigation into the case of March 1, Levon Ter-Petrosyan said with that, the SIS considered the page of March 1 turned over after fulfilling the demand stated in the PACE Resolution and Serzh Sargsyan's assignment.

Levon Ter-Petrosyan mentioned that with this, the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) took on the responsibility for the crime and cynically declared that the people who shot at hundreds of people and killed ten citizens will remain unpunished.

"No matter how long the nightmare and the dictatorship continue, at the end of the day, the culprits will be brought to justice," Levon Ter-Petrosyan declared.

He brought up the examples of dictators, starting from Chaushesku and ending with Gadhafi.

Touching upon the French Senate's adoption of the bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide, Ter-Petrosyan mentioned that the Armenian authorities led by Serzh Sargsyan rushed to rejoice and incline in front of President of France Nikola Sarkzy and the French government.

He mentioned that that was simply a way of winning the French-Armenians' votes and solving the issue of preventing Turkey's EU integration.

Ter-Petrosyan mentioned that it was early for Serzh Sargsyan to rejoice because the Constitutional Council of France ended the issue with that.
