Armenian Genocide recognition is the only way: Francois Hollande

The President of France Francois Hollande reaffirmed in Armenia – the only solution is the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. The President of France Francois Hollande stated this at the course of the joint press conference with the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, which was held in the Presidential Residence. 

Among other things Francois Hollande noted that the Armenian Genocide recognition is the only way. “I have already stated about this, when Prime Minister Erdogan made that statement. I always try to see positive side in this signs and this the case at the present moment too. But of course in my opinion the central issue is that the massacres must be called as genocide. A solution is necessary and that is the recognition of the Genocide,” Hollande emphasized. Also, at the course of the press conference held in Yerevan the French President Francois Hollande reaffirmed his willingness to participate in the ceremony of commemoration dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on April 24, 2015 in Yerevan.
