ANC member thinks that PAP is a false opposition.

Armenia is going to face one more test, namely, elections, Petros Makeyan, Chairman of the Democratic Homeland party, told journalists on Friday.

As referring to the PAP pre-election policy Makeyan said that the scenario of the tricks that were used during the presidential elections (to form false opposition), now is trying to be used in the face of the PAP, which enters into the very image of the opposition.

“All the parties are actively preparing for elections. Representatives of the ruling circles are visiting Armenia’s regions, trying to explain why they have failed to keep their promises given five years ago. The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) launched its public activities by holding a mass rally,” he said.

Makeyan is sure that the forthcoming parliamentary elections will differ from the previous elections due to serious competition.
“The forthcoming elections are going to take place in the context of presidential elections. This is the reason why Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will top the list of the Republican Party of Armenia,” Makeyan said. Armenia’s authorities are most seriously preparing for the elections.

With respect to Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan’s activities, Makeyan said that the premier failed all the economic programs.

“When you listen to Serzh Sargsyan, you cannot but agree with some of his thoughts. But we need deeds, not words,” Makeyan said.
