Armenia’s Deputy PM receives newly appointed Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan.

Armenia’s Deputy PM and Regional Governance (RG) Minister Armen Gevorgyan on Friday received Ambassador Andrei Sorokin, the newly appointed Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
In Deputy PM’s words, in the recent years a productive cooperation has taken place with the Office, specifically in human resource development, and Gevorgyan pointed to the activities by the environmental centers in Armenia’s regions, RG Ministry informed.
In his turn, Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan stressed that, aside from the ongoing projects, Armenia can also present ideas and proposals for new projects. As per the Ambassador, the collaboration between the two sides has but one common goal: contributing to economic growth and democratization of electoral processes.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the proper implementation of the activities by local and regional government agencies during electoral processes, and on several other matters.
