New highway to be constructed in Yerevan.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan has introduced an investment project for a new road construction to the Government. It is included in the upcoming session.

According to it, the new 2.6 km long avenue will link Leningradyan and Admiral Isakov Streets in Malatsia-Sebastia district of Yerevan.

However, the Ministry of Territorial Administration opposed to the deal claiming the road is better to be built on the budget or a credit expenses as later the land price will increase sharply around the road. However, the city hall rejected it.
