President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a phone conversation on Wednesday with newly elected Russian President Vladimir Putin.

President Sargsyan once again congratulated Vladimir Putin wishing success in the office, presidential press service informs.

The leaders expressed readiness to continue joint efforts into development and strengthening of Armenian-Russian strategic partnership based on centuries-old friendly relations.
