Georgia and NATO have signed an agreement on cooperation in enforcing security, Trend reports.
Secretary of the Georgian Security Council Giga Bokeria said that the document is essential for Georgia to improve security and combating threats.
Georgian Ambassador to NATO Grigol Mgalobishvili said that NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen approved Georgia's support of the operation in Afghanistan by doubling troops to fight terrorism. The new agreement will improve cooperation.
