Republican Party`s 13th congress kicks off in Yerevan.

The ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia’s (RPA) thirteenth regular congress is starting on Saturday at capital Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.

Close to 1,500 delegates, hundreds of guests, and representatives of the diplomatic corps are invited to the event.

Reports are expected to be delivered by RPA Chairman—and Armenia’s President—Serzh Sargsyan, and by RPA Audit Committee.

According to the Party’s rules of procedure, RPA will elect its chairman, Audit Committee members, and will make changes in its Board and Executive Body.

Serzh Sargsyan is expected to be reelected RPA Chairman.
