Vladimir Putin`s congratulatory address to the RPA Congress.

The relations between Armenia and Russia are traditionally warm and are developing dynamically, said member of the United Russia party Artur Chilingarov, News.am reports.

Chilingarov is a guest of the Congress of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) held in Yerevan.

Artur Chilingarov read the address of Russia’s newly elected President Vladimir Putin to the participants of the Congress.

In his address Putin stressed that RPA makes a considerable political contribution to the development of the country and to the strengthening of friendly and good neighborly relations between Armenia and Russia.

Chilingarov recalled that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan congratulated Putin on his victory in the March 4 presidential elections.

He also underscored that economic cooperation between the countries will continue this year pointing out the fifth energy unit of the Hrazdan TPP to be put into operation and new proposals made on construction of a new nuclear power unit.
