In the media and social networks number of discussions have recently been carried out over the place where the International song festival "New Wave-2012", which is widely popular among CIS countries, will be held. The thing is, there were versions that the festival will be held either in Latvian capital Riga or in Italian San-Remo city.

But on the eve Russian show-business representatives Lera Kudryavceva and Boris Moiseev announced that the "New Wave-2012" will be held in Jurmala from July 24 to 29 as a tradition. 

To note, in "New Wave-2010" representative of Armenia Sona Shakhgeldyan won the contest.
