We hope the SDHP will be able to form alliance under the aegis of the ANC - Lyudmila Sargsyan.

Information was circulating in Armenian media today, that the 6th place in the ANC proportional list will occupy Social Democrat Hunchakian Party [SDHP] chairwoman Lyudmila Sargsyan. We tried to find out whether the information was correct or not directly from Lyudmila Sargsyan.

"it is several days I have not been in the ANC and I do not possess any information about the list. i can neither confirm, nor deny that news," the charwoman said.

Speaking about the individual place in the ANC list without any alliance with other political parties, Lyudmila Sargsyan said that they always had an opportunity to be represented in the ANC list and would use it. Notwithstanding, she said there were some hopes for the SDHP to form alliance with other parties under the aegis of the ANC.

It's noteworthy, that SDHP has claimed several times for being prosecuted by the authorities.

Few days ago, talking about the difficulties the party faces with, the chairwoman said, "There is a large number of problems our party faces. One month ago we received a letter from a number of people who had been excommunicated from the party. They said statutory changes had been made; a president was elected, and now, after passing the state registry, archive, seal etc. must be presented. It's rather surprising, that some people without any reference to law and our party were registered in the state registry."

According to Lyudmila Sargsyan, "the ministry is doing it's best to delay our registration in order to not allow us to form an alliance."
