Non-partisan intellectuals included in the election list of Democratic Party of Armenia - Aram Sargsyan.

Non-partisan intellectuals are also included in the election list of Democratic Party of Armenia; we have created a unique alliance of party members and non-partisan intellectuals, Chairman of Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan told in a news conference, commenting on the format of DPA’s participation in the parliamentary elections.

Academician Lenser Aghalovyan is second on the party list. Irina Gasparyan, Head of Federation of Assyrian Organizations of Armenia is also included on the list, Sargsyan noted.

The party chairman also dwelt on DPA’s election program. According to him, “the Democratic Party offers an alternative program envisaging change of the regime.The system of government should be built on moral norms based on national value system.”

Party’s foreign policy stance prioritizes Armenian-Russian relations, according to Aram Sargsyan.
