Issues of South Caucasus countries are not included in the PACE spring session agenda.

The coming plenary sitting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is scheduled for April 23-27 in Strasburg, the official website of the PACE informs. At the coming sitting the Assembly must elect vice chairmen.

The sitting of the PACE Bureau will focus on the presidential elections in Russia. Reports on gender equality, protection of women's rights in the South Neighborhood countries of the Council of Europe, issues of the inner displaced in the North Caucasus as well as reduction of pensions in a number of countries as a result of economic crisis will be presented.

Representative of the Armenian delegation Zaruhi Postanjyan will present a report on freedom of speech and expression in Internet and electronic media.
