Armenia’s Parliament Speaker receives Korean Ambassador to Armenia.

National Assembly Speaker Samvel Nikoyan received Thursday newly-appointed Korean Ambassador to Armenia. Congratulating the latter on taking the office, Samvel Nokoyan referred to the current Armenian-Korean close relations and attached importance to their further expansion and development.

As press service of the National Assembly informs, Samvel Nikoyan pointed out the current inter-parliamentary cooperation and the need for expanding it.

He stressed that the Armenian party highly assesses the support programs implemented by the government of Korea. In particular, as a result of bilateral cooperation, the sessions hall of the National Assembly has been fully equipped and corresponds to the highest international standards.

Mr. Nikoyan highlighted activation of mutual visits between the two countries, experience exchange, cooperation in different spheres, which will promote development of Armenian-Korean relations.

Expressing gratitude for reception, the ambassador said he will direct his efforts toward expansion of ties and cooperation between the two countries and particularly, between the parliaments.
