Armavia and Zvartnots finally come to terms.

"Armenia" international airports and "Armavia" airlines after four-day negotiations have finally signed an agreement according to which "Armenia" international company has made a number of concessions.

General Manager of "Armenia" international company Marcelo Vende told a news conference today that during the four days they were trying to solve the existing issues together with "Armavia" airlines and task group set up by the Prime Minister. "For several times the process was on the edge of failure, including today, until just minutes ago Armavia signed the agreement," Marcelo Vende said, adding that the carrier has gathered 5 million 300 thousand USD debt.

"According to the signed document the first payment will be made on March 31 and the new tariffs will enter into force in one year. The deadline for the payment of the debt is September 2012 and we are full of hope it will not be violated," he stressed, reminding that last year the company reached such agreement but it was violated on the very first day.
