The investigator tried to get information about the source from LURER.com release responsible.

LURER.com news agency`s release responsible Arthur Minasyan today was called to RA MOD Military Police investigation department of Yerevan garrison to give clarifications over the release in the site published on the eve, that some days ago a group of military servicemen from Kanaker army unit were brought to RA MOD Military Police department of Yerevan garrison, who were severely beaten there.

To note, citing our sources from RA Military Police department, we had informed earlier that the soldiers were beaten by the head of  Military Police station of Yerevan garrison Ruben Nersisyan and criminal investigation employee Harutyun Vorpanyan.

Among the beaten soldiers especially suffered Arsen Grigoryan, who got facial injures. For smothering the incident and avoiding unnecessary scandal, Grigoryan was given vacation to recover at home. Arsen Grigoryan is Sevan city resident.

The investigator tried to get information data from Minasyan about Military Police department source. Citing Article 5 of the RA Code about Mass media, the site`s release responsible, using his right, refused to give information data about the source.

To note, according to Article 5 of the RA Code about Mass media, the ones realizing media activities are not obliged to disclose the sources of information, and this can be enforced only by court decision, under a criminal case over revealing heavy crime, if the necessity of the criminal protection of public interests is more weighty than the public interest of not disclosing the source of information and all the other means to protect public interest have exhausted.
