PAP will do its best to return the people’s belief and trust - Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan.

Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s speech at the party’s sixth session contained both positive and negative remarks as the politician addressed not only Armenia’s achievements but also the existing gaps.
He particularly focused on the poverty rate and migration, calling for action to ensure the society’s well-being.
“If no immediate solution is found, we will have to record increased poverty and a higher rate of emigration,” he said. “Our youth have to build their future in their homeland. And the only solution to prevent it is to create work places.”
“Young people should see their future in Armenia. A person who works should not be needy. Unless we solve the problem of jobs, we would face the struggle against poverty. Have we managed to solve this strategic problem? I think no,” he said.
Tsarukyan noted that the impact of the 2008 global economic recession was particularly great on small and medium-sized enterprises which, unlike big businesses, faced the threat of closedown.
“The state has to assist that class and award privileges. That’s the only way to accomplishment,” he said, adding that their program for the coming five also envisages steps in that direction.
Tsarukyan further referred to French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour’s question on necessary steps to prevent migration.
“It is important to do everything possible to change the social-economic conditions in the country, enhance the business environment and create new jobs,” he said.
Speaking of the upcoming parliamentary election, the PAP leader stressed the importance of conducting free and fair polls.
“The entire political arena has to unite round fair elections,” he said, considering the measure an appropriate way to protect a voter’s right.
Tsarukyan promised that the PAP will do its best to return the people’s belief and trust.
“We have never disappointed the people and this time too, we will justify your hopes. We will have the prosperous Armenia all dream about,” he said.
