The Conservative Party convened its tenth special congress on Sunday, during which it decided to support the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) in the upcoming National Assembly elections.

The Party also decided not to nominate any candidates by the majority election system.

The Conservative Party congress’ adopted resolution states that the Party will again support ANC leader and Armenia’s First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, in the parliamentary elections to be held in May, and despite the content of his election program and the makeup of his election list to be announced.
