Spokesman of Armenia’s Minister of Defense resigns.

David Karapetyan handed in his resignation from the post of Spokesman of Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan.

The minister signed an order relieving David Karapetyan of the post because of his transfer to another position.

During the talk with LURER.com, David Karapetyan confirmed that he filled the post of Advisor to the Secretary of the National Security Council.

"This was a personal decision, and I think that works of National Security Council [NSC] and the Ministry of Defense are interconnected and I can carry out useful and productive work also in the NSC" Davit Karapetyan explained his resignation with this. 

The decision to change his post, according to Karapetian, came from his inner conviction.

"I have served in the Ministry of Defense for already 3 years and now see myself in the NSC," said the newly appointed advisor. 

The spokesman refused to answer any other additional questions, saying, "Please, don`t give more questions."
