French President Nicolas Sarkozy was caught on camera calling a reporter “dummy”, during an official visit to a town east of Paris on Thursday, The Local reports.

Sarkozy lost his patience when the journalist asked him about recent clashes in Paris between police and striking steel workers. After realizing that the incident was recorded, the president apologized.
