A tent of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation -Dashnaktsutyun erected in the centre of Armenia's northwestern city of Gyumri has been taken down by the order of police, the local GALA TV reports.

The red-colour tent had been pitched outside the theatre building for a few days, with ARF-D representatives urging citizens to stand up for their votes and avoid bribes.

The tent bore the inscriptions: "Vote is power" and "Do not allow them to steal your votes."
