BBC - The brother of the man who killed seven people in south-west France in recent weeks is appearing in court to face possible charges of complicity.

Prosecutors allege Abdelkader Merah helped his brother Mohamed carry out killings in Toulouse and Montauban and was planning terror attacks himself.

Abdelkader Merah denies the accusations but says he was there when his brother stole a scooter used in the attacks.

He has reportedly said he is proud of his brother.
