To have Iraqi embassy in Armenia is necessity, according to Iraqi Armenians.

Iraq expressed wish to open embassy in Armenia, reports Trend citing the words of the head of the Iraqi diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan.
On this occasion LURER.com held a talk with the representative of "Iraqi Armenians family" NGO, orientalist Yervand Minasyan, who informed that their organization still months ago sent a letter to Iraqi ambassador to Georgia informing that opening Iraqi embassy in Armenia was really necessity.
The thing is that as of current moment nearly 800 Iraqi Armenians live in Armenia, who are Iraq`s citizens. The latter from time to time have problems connected with their documents and have to leave for Tbilisi for solving these issues in Iraqi embassy in Georgia.
Besides, there are more than 10 thousand Armenian communities in Iraq.
To note, Iraqi embassy opened in Armenia still under the regime of Saddam Hussein, but after short-term activities it closed.
