ARF-D list is quite positive in general, says the party leader Vahan Hovhannisyan.

Vahan Hovhannisyan, the leader of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun faction in parliament, blames the authorities for the people’s current disappointment with electoral processes.
“It isn’t as if the authorities had called for believing them. Otherwise, people could be disappointed, which is not bad on the other hand,” he told a news conference on Monday.
A major cause of such disappointment, according to him, is the ruling Republican Party’s list of candidates.
“The sad thing is that it is all they have,” he said. “One official follows another, with those having a higher rank listed above and the lower class runners listed at the bottom. That’s disappointing as it is.”
But the politician did not dwell on the list, preferring to maintain correctness before the official start of the campaign.
As for the ARF-D’s ballot, he considered it quite successful.
“Our list is quite positive in general and if you get familiarized with the absolutely new names on the top 20 positions or wait at least until the campaign, you will see that we do really have such people,” Hovhannisyan said, adding that the ARF-D’s electoral program focuses more on social issues.
