Yerevan Mayor congratulates on the occasion of the World Theatre Day.

On the occasion of the World Theatre Day, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan has issued a congratulatory address to the theatrical figures, praising their talent and invaluable role in the Armenian nation’s life.

“Theatre has always had its independent and irreplaceable role for us, Armenians. Hence, an Armenian man has always sought the answers to his most pressing problems and questions on stage.

I am confident that you too, often had the chance to receive the evidence that the society really likes and appreciates you. And that’s very genuine because the images you create leave their eternal imprint on the people’s memory, with the noble ideas of the beautiful, kind and honest, and keep people’s belief in tomorrow’s day bright in difficult periods,” reads the address.

Congratulating the masters of stage art, the mayor further wishes them happiness, health and creative success.
