Having modern country is key challenge - ARF-D rep Lilit Galstyan.

Building a modern country is one of the key challenges facing Armenia today, according to Lilit Galstyan, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D) faction in parliament.
Speaking at a debate held jointly with the Armenian Center of Political and International Studies, the Dashnak lawmaker said that the candidates’ lists prepared by the political parties running for parliament have nothing to do with the idea of creating a modern Armenia.
Galstyan criticized the wide distribution of electoral bribes, considering it a tragedy corrupting the citizen of Armenia.
“We are buried in monopolies, human rights violations and emigration. Such conditions jeopardize Armenia’s future,” she said.
Speaking of the parties’ slogans, Galstyan said that the prevalence of the word believe demonstrates, yet another time, the Armenian society’s desperate state.
“It’s a long time the Armenian society has lost its faith. Some wait for bribes, while other don’t go to polls as they no longer believe in changes,” she explained.
As for the ARF-D’s motto – Freedom, Justice, Alliance – Galstyan said those words have not been selected randomly as the party really believes in Armenia’s future.
