Today Armenian media again spread information that singer and RA NA deputy candidate Shushan Petrosyan will not go to the National Assembly. Due to media outlets, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) sees Petrosyan in the executive authority, and either as Minister or Deputy Minister of Culture.
LURER.com tried to clarify the information from Shushan Petrosyan who qualified this step unbridled to spread disinformation without her acknowledgement: "They were deeply mistaken to write such an information; I live for myself calmly, why they are confused?" said the singer.
Due to another press release, recently during the meeting with broadcasters Chairman of Armenia’s National Commission on Television and Radio [NCTR] Grigor Amalyan warned that during the pre-election campaign Shushan Petrosyan's videos and song records will be considered as part of RPA election campaign, therefore they will be banned or must be aired at particular hours of the day. In return, the broadcasters complained that soon is April 24 and this day patriotic songs are heard and at least "Armenia" song sings Shushan Petrosyan.
We tried to clarify the singer's point of view also over this issue.
"I do not consider this as campaign. And for most part, I am not particularly shown on TV. But if people want to listen to the same quality as they do now, let them listen to, God with them," said Shushan Petrosyan and added that she is made happy with the fact that people have understood that particularly on April 24 patriotic songs should be listened to, "especially patriotic songs, especially on April 24."
