RA Police warns Mashtots park activists.

Statement of the RA Police:

The RA Police is authorized to declare that the demolition foreseen at Mashtots Park on March 31 at 13:00 and the compulsory implementation of the participants' demands are not protected by the freedom of rallies.

The mentioned illegal acts can be viewed as a violation of the law and can lead to liability established by the law. The RA Police reminds that the administrative act on construction in that area can only be disputed in court.

Any act that restricts persons' constitutional rights, including acts that create obstacles for exercising the right to property and threaten the maintenance of social order and the assurance of social security will be viewed as a violation of the established order, and in case of presence of the established bases, will lead to compulsory enforcement. The RA Police once again calls on citizens and demands that they refrain from committing illegal acts, provoking and intensifying the situation for no reason.

Police officers today have warned the activists at Mashtots Park about the illegitimacy of their possible actions and the consequences.
