2 million sq/m area to be laid with asphalt concrete layer though capital Yerevan.

All the administrative regions of the capital Yerevan are engaged in repair work; streets, yards, pavements are being laid with asphalt concrete layer. Yerevan city hall 2012 program stipulates that repair work volume do not exceed 2 million square meters. Yerevan city hall Information and Public Relations Department told Armenpress that the project also includes reconstruction works of sidewalks, blind alleys, ground streets besides main and secondary streets. Soon the renovation works carried on in Republican Square will be finished.

2012 asphalt laying program involves repair of 350 streets , 400 yards and 80 pavements. This year for the first time 25 ground roads will be laid with asphalt with 35.200 square meters surface.
