ANC army ready for full-scale attack – Levon Zurabyan.

The army of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) has set off on a march and is ready for a full-scale attack, Levon Zurabyan, Coordinator of the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC), stated at the ANC rally in Yerevan on Friday.

“Today we are launching a new battle for democracy, which will prove the cradle of our life of dignity.”

He said that the ANC plans to hold more frequent rallies. The ANC has so far been dealing with technical issues.

Opposition candidates in 90% of constituencies will facilitate supervision over the elections. Overall, 4,000 of ANC supporters will be supervising elections throughout Armenia.

“We will also get access to television, and the people thirsty for the truth will get rid of their fears,” Zurabyan said.

On May 6, the people will “spring a surprise on the authorities, which hope to rape the popular will by means of their election riggings.”

“This is an historic chance to break the yoke of this predator regime, and future generations will never forgive us if we miss it,” Zurabyan said.
