World-renowned French Armenian singer Charles Aznavour will give three concerts in New York City. And during a press conference in New York he said his former and current concerts are not farewell performances, ITAR-TASS News Agency informs.
He also informed that he might sing in French, English, and Spanish during the concerts.
Aznavour noted that one of his greatest dreams is to sing at Moscow’s Red Square. “There are two more places in the world where I would wish to sing: The Greek Acropolis and the Egyptian pyramids,” the musician stated.
He added that for him “the audience is the same everywhere.”
Speaking about the cities where he would love to live, Charles Aznavour mentioned Montreal, Brussels, New York, and Milan.
And in response to the question, “why are you still on stage when many [people] of your age prefer a quiet life without stress?”, the 88-year-old maestro responded by saying: “Because I love life.”
