Yerevan Mayor congratulates freedom fighters’ wives and mothers.

The mothers and wives of Armenian freedom fighters who fell during the Karabakh war of liberation, and the female war veterans attended the festive reception which Yerevan City Hall organized in connection with the Motherhood and Beauty Day in Armenia.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan congratulated those present on this festive occasion. “You should be proud because you have given birth to heroes. It is thanks to your sons and husbands that today we are building a state, [and] materializing our ideas,” Margaryan noted.

The Karabakh War Participant Women NGO’s Chairperson thanked the Mayor for his warm reception and constant attention paid toward them.

In their turn, the Legacy of the Fallen and Disabled Freedom Fighters NGO and the International Association of Lawyers and Psychologists awarded Yerevan’s Mayor with a certificate of honor for his constant and exclusive attention, respect, and care toward the families of those who fell during the Karabakh War.
